Call for papers: The Implementation of the Affordable Care Act (abstracts due Oct. 25)
On Friday, April 4, 2014, John Marshall’s Center for Tax Law & Employee Benefits will hostthe 12th Annual Employee Benefits Symposium: “The Implementation of the Affordable Care Act.” Papers will be published in The John Marshall Law Review’s special Symposium edition, Spring 2014 (subject to its discretion).
The Symposium offers leading academics, practitioners, economists, and consultants the opportunity to directly address successes, shortfalls, and surprises in the implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act to date; as well as to predictfuture challenges and unintended consequences; and to propose further revisions/reforms.

About the Employee Benefits Symposium
The Annual Employee Benefits Symposium offers academics and leading practitioners the opportunity to present their papers and to engage in dialogue with one another and the audience. Past topics have included, “America’s Retirement Crisis: What Can Be Done?,””The Changing Landscape of Executive Compensation Regulation and Reporting,” and “Legal Issues Regarding Public Sector Employee Benefit Plans.”
