New platform targeting health care providers allows for automated enrollment in ACA exchange insurance

PointCare, a healthcoverage software firm located in Silicon Valley, has announced the launch of PointCarePA 2.0, a customizable, web-based screening and enrollment automation tool that gives the uninsured instant access to every state’s public, private, and Exchange coverageoptions. With insurance enrollments key to the success of the Affordable Care Act, PointCarePA 2.0 organizes the fragmented health coverage system through providing real-time eligibility, coverage, and application information for several thousand programs.This tool enables providers to create more consistent, accurate, and patient-friendly health coverage screening procedures throughout any type of facility—hospitals, communityhealth centers, or doctors’ offices.  It is available for review by heath care providers.
