KFF updates Medicare fact sheets

The Kaiser Family Foundation this week issued two updated fact sheetssummarizing key aspects of the Medicare program. The Medicare at a Glance Fact Sheetprovides a basic overview of the Medicare program, including how it isfinanced, who is eligible, and what benefits are covered under theprogram. The Medicare Advantage Fact Sheetprovides an overview of the private health plans serving Medicarebeneficiaries, including recent trends in plan participation andbeneficiary enrollment, data on benefits and premiums, and informationon how Medicare pays participating plans.
