Mary Radford (Georgia State) to visit at Phoenix School of Law

Mary F. Radford has joined the faculty at Phoenix School of Law as aVisiting Professor for the SpringMary and Fall semesters of 2007.  She willteach Wills & Trusts and Estate Planning.  Radford is afull-time faculty member at Georgia State University College of Law inAtlanta, where she has taught since 1984.  In 1990-91, she worked as aSupreme Court Fellow for Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist.  Prior toteaching, Radford practiced as an associate at the Atlanta firm ofHansell & Post.  She earned her J.D. from Emory University in 1981,and has also taught English and French at the high school level.  Amongher many honors, Radford is an Academic Fellow, Regent, and ExecutiveCommittee Member of the American College of Trust & Estate Counseland in 2006, was elected as an Academic Member of the American LawInstitute.  She currently serves as the Reporter for the Georgia TrustCode Revision Committee.  The author of several publications andlaw review articles, Radford is a frequent presenter on estateplanning, guardianship and elder law topics at local, national andinternational seminars.  She has been listed for three years by AtlantaMagazine of one of Georgia’s “Top 50 Female Lawyers” and was listed in2006 among “Georgia’s Top 100 Lawyers.”
