The President’s contribution to the national debt
November 30, 2005
ZFacts has an interesting comparison of our past and current presidents’ contributions to the total
national debt, which now stands at over $8 TRILLION! The budget reconciliation bill, now in suspension as Congress takes a break from all its hard work, makes significant cuts to programs serving the poor and middle class, would add considerably to the current deficit (and, by extension, to the debt) due to tax cuts for the wealthy.
Take a look.
