Guest Blogger Prof. Myers to take the reins…
Starting Saturday, Professor Mike Myers (South Dakota) will be Honorary Blogmeister while I take off for a week or so to the wild north of Minnesota, where there is neither cell phone service, nor Internet access, nor cable television–in short, no possibility whatsoever to encounter the name or face of Paris Hilton. Yes, such places still exist, and I highly recommend a visit to one of them at least once a year. Prof. Myers is the creator of the Elderlaw Forum at the University of South Dakota, where he maintains an elder law website loaded with information of interest to seniors, elder law professors, and advocates for the elderly. Prof. Myers also hosts a weekly radio broadcast aimed at seniors in which his guests discuss such varied topics as Estate Planning, Living Wills, and Birdwatching. Shameless self promotion: I’ll be Mike’s guest on show # 143, discussing Medicare Part D and the probable short and long term effects of DTC advertising on the scope and cost of Part D benefits.
