Not elder law: World’s oldest living rose
The world’s oldest living rose — thought to be about 1,000 years old —grows on a wall at the Hildesheim Cathedral of Germany. Wikepedia says: “The cathedral of Hildesheim is a UNESCO World HeritageSite. It was built in the 9th century, but damaged in 1945; it was reconstructed soonafter the war. The rose tree entwines itself around the apsis, claimed to have been planted simultaneously with the foundation ofthe church. It was destroyed in 1945, but the roots survived and began to sprout anew.”
