National Health Quality Report, 2005

The 2005 National Healthcare Quality Report (NHQR) is a comprehensive national overview of quality of health care in the United States.


The 2005 NHQR includes 179 performance measures that can be used tomonitor the Nation’s progress toward improved health care quality forall Americans. This year’s report focuses on a group of 46 “core”measures representing the most important and scientifically soundmeasures of quality.

The 2005 NHQR includes a report and two online appendixes.
