Those of you regular blog readers know I long for a self-driving car (among other cool tech-y things), so I was interested in the new report from the Rand Corporation on autonomous vehicles. 
Rand Research Report 443-1, Autonomous Vehicle Technology: A Guide for Policymakers (2014) is available in paperback or can be downloaded for free as a pdf for individual use (information for class use is posted on the website). The report has a lot of detailed information and includes a section examining the various state statutes addressing autonomous vehicles. Key findings, categorized as benefits, drawbacks and policy implications, can be accessed here and recommendations, here.
