Spotlight on University of Alabama Law’s Hugh Lee

Hugh Lee is the Director of University of Alambama’s Elder Law Clinic, a position he’s held since 2002 (he previously designed and supervised Alabama’s Civil Clinic).  He is co-author of a 1500 page treatise on Alabama Elder Law, and serves on the boards of organizations that serve elders and disabled persons, including the Alabama Family Trust.  Along that same line, he served as the reporter for the Alabama when the state legislature adopted the Uniform Guardianship and Protective Proceedings Jurisdiction Act.

In addition to teaching supervising students in the Elder Law Clinic and (most recently) a new Foreclosure Relief Clinic, and teaching courses on elder law,  Hugh Lee  teaches in the University’s Department of Psychology.
