Protecting Family Caregivers from Exploitation by the Elderly

Last week I posted about unfulfilled promises by a family member “to care for Grandmother for the rest of her life,” and outlined the possibility of “failure of consideration” as grounds for rescission of the conveyance that transferred title on the home, noting a line of cases that expressly recognizes this relief in the context of “support deeds.”
