Tampa Bay Area SNF Closes After Medicare Loss

My local paper, the Tampa Bay Times, reported a story, A Florida nursing home lost its Medicare benefits. Residents lost a home. The article covers the impact on residents being forced to locate, the corporate structure of the SNF, and various issues regarding resident care.  The article notes that “[the nursing home …  became the latest in Florida formerly affiliated with Consulate Health Care to lose its federal benefits since May because of poor patient care.
