More from 3d World Congress on Adult Guardianship

I must say that this has been a pretty amazing conference.  The presentations are at a very high level and I am having a great time connecting with so many academics and practitioners commited to improving the guardianship systems in their countries.  Yesterday I was on a panel with Prof. Lindy Willmott of Queens University of Technology in Brisbane.  She presented her recent research on physicians’ knowledge of the law pertaining to advance health care directives when they make treatment decisions.  Very disconcerting findings, to say the least!  You can read about the study she and her co-researchers conducted here.  Highly recommended!
