Comedian Shares Dad’s Dying via Twitter

Last August we had a post about Scott Simon from NPR who was tweeting about the days leading up to his mom’s death.  Another nationally known individual has used Twitter in a similar way.  Laurie Kilmartin, a comedian and professional joke writer, tweeted about the events leading up to her dad’s death and the issues she’s dealt with as a consequence thereof.  Her tweets are full of humor, although some may describe the tweets as dark humor.  All of them are heartfelt and portray little moments of a family coping with the dying process.

Our Stetson Law electronic education specialist Julie Kitzmiller sent me a link to the article about her tweets (thanks Julie) that was published on the cheezburger website.
