2014 Poverty Numbers Are Out

HHS has published the announcement of the 2014 poverty guidelines in 79 Federal Register 3593 on January 22nd, 2014.   For an individual it is $11,670 and a two-person household, $15,730.  More information about amounts for larger households and for Alaska and Hawaii are contained in the announcement.
