Aging In Place-Homework for Your Students

It’s National Aging in Place week. So how about a homework assignment for your students?  There are several checklists available on the web that can be used to analyze whether someone’s current housing is suitable to “age in place”. I have given  a couple of examples here and here. (A quick internet search and you may find another one you prefer). So why not give your students this assignment: give them the checklist and have them check out (a) their house or  (b) the house of a relative (or another dwelling).  Let us know if you do this, and how this assignment works out.
