TheAgency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is requestingapplications from organizations that propose to develop specializedcenters for the purpose of (a) utilizing communication and informationbased technologies to improve and expand health-related servicesavailable to older adults, and (b) developing effective strategies totranslate research advances into practice efficiently. Research resultsare intended to enhance the independence and functional capabilities ofolder adults through development of tools, production of demonstrationprojects, and construction of educational programs.
