Elder law pioneer Ann Pecora dies at age 62
Anne Pecora, a pioneering academic in the elder law arena, died Monday Dec. 15. Ann was the founder and director of the Elder Law RepresentationProject of Baltimore City during 1975-92 as a clinical law program atthe University of Baltimore School of Law, which became the basis forUB Law School’s clinical law program. She was truly a leader in thedevelopment of elder law Maryland, and she published severalarticles on guardianship and related matters in national law reviews(University of Arkansas, Villanova, Univerity of Illinois Law School’sThe Elder Law Journal) during the early 1990s, continuing as aProfessor of Law at UB until her retirement in 2006. Anne was 62.
