Not elder law: World’s oldest fossil found in Mexico
Mexican scientistssaid they have determined that a lobster fossil found in the southernstate of Chiapas
is, at 110 million years old, the oldest fossil everfound. The 1995 find on the border with Guatemala could indicatethat the region could be where the evolution of this species and othertypes of flora and fauna began, the researchers at Mexico City’sNational Autonomous University of Mexico said Monday. Besides the lobster fossil, petrified remains of fish, insects and plants were uncovered in the Ocozocuautla community.
