For purposes of determining the present value of an annuity, aninterest for life or a term of years, or a remainder or a reversionaryinterest, Revenue Ruling 2005-57 indicates that the mid-term federalrate under Internal Revenue Code Section 7520 for the month ofSeptember 2005 is 5.0%.
