American Society on Aging’s New Ventures in Leadership

Applications are now available for the 2006-2007 class of ASA’s New Ventures in Leadership(NVL), a program devoted to building the leadership potential ofprofessionals of color in the field of aging. Participants — known asNVL partners — take part in training activities and develop specialprojects; each is paired with two mentors, one local and one national,who encourage the partner’s professional development and facilitateaccess to established networks of leaders.  Applications are due October 31, 2005.
